Dr. James K. Montague, Optometrist
A native of Montgomery County, Dr. Montague opened his Skippack Office after receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA where he graduated with honors. Prior to receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree, he began his education by attending LaSalle University, Philadelphia, PA graduating with a BA in Biology. He followed his undergraduate studies at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where he received a BS in Science. Dr Montague’s optometry internship was completed at the Kenner Army Community Hospital in Ft. Lee, Virginia.
Dr. Montague has served the Skippack community for over 25 years. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, as well as the local Bucks-Montgomery Optometric Society.
Outside of the office, Dr. Montague enjoys spending time with his wife, Chris, son, James, and daughter, Elyse. He enjoys vintage sports car collecting and restoration. Dr. Montague is also notably environmentally conscious. Look for him driving his Bee Smart car around The Skippack Village.
